Love Grace

Love Grace is a charity initiative set up in memory of Grace Millane. Grace was a friend of Jessica Brewin, one of our solicitors, before her tragic death when travelling in New Zealand. A link to the Love Grace website can be found here: https://www.lovegrace.co.uk.

In June 2023 we delivered 50 handbags to BERKSHIRE WOMEN'S AID (BWA) following our appeal on behalf of Love Grace in April/May. The handbags will be distributed across the Berkshire area to women in need.

Following the success of the appeal we will remain a permanent drop off point for Love Grace. More information about the Love Grace charity initiative can be found on their website: https://www.lovegrace.co.uk/

Thank you to everyone who has donated. We are running a further appeal throughout January 2024 and will be collecting handbags and practical items for BERKSHIRE WOMEN'S AID to distribute to local women’s refuges.

Attached is a document setting out further information about the appeal including a list of items which can be donated.  Any donations will be gratefully received with or without the handbag.

The Newbury Spring Festival

For the past few years CH-R Family Solicitors have supported The Newbury Spring Festival by sponsoring an evening of music. The Newbury Spring Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in and around the Newbury area for a wide audience.  This year we are sponsoring A Taste of Argentina at The Vineyard Hotel which will include the chance to enjoy some delicious Argentinian food and wine whilst listening to some classic Argentinian music and watching a performance of traditional tango.

Loose Ends, Newbury

Loose Ends in Newbury is a local charity that CH-R Family Solicitors have supported for several years. Loose Ends provides meals, clothes and other essentials to people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or difficult times in their lives. Run by volunteers, the charity welcomes practical help, as well as donations and financial support.

Time to Talk 

We are proud to support Time to Talk, a charity set up in Berkshire to support children’s mental health by providing one to one counselling and family support.  With NHS resources being under pressure, Time to Talk provides a much needed service for teenagers in and around Newbury.  We are pleased to sponsor their events including their 2023 Golf Day.
