Claire Hamilton-Russell

Claire has practised as a family lawyer for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to her clients.  Having trained at City law firm Travers Smith she moved to Farrer & Co where she became a Partner in 1998.  She went on to head up the family team at Penningtons (latterly Thomas Eggar) from 2004 before starting CH-R Family Solicitors with Daisy Hutchinson in 2013.

Claire has represented many clients through their marriage breakdowns.  She specialises in acting for high net worth clients often with an international dimension or complex assets.  She tries where possible to find a pragmatic and family focussed solution from the outset.  Claire is highly regarded by other family lawyers and respected for her firm but fair negotiating style.  When court proceedings become necessary Claire will go the extra mile for clients.

Claire is a member of Resolution and committed to mediation and alternative dispute resolution wherever appropriate.
